My research area is focused on the development of new molecular imaging agents, activatable photosensitizing agents, and nanomedicine. Especially, I am trying to develop nanoagents which can detect cancer sites by MRI, SPECT/CT, or nearinfrared fluorescence imaging, and then treat the detected tumors by photodynamic/photothermal therapy.
