George N. Thalmann, MD

Dr. George N. Thalmann is the Professor and Chairman at the Department of Urology, University of Bern, Switzerland. He received his Medical Doctors Degree in 1988 at the Medical School of University of Bern and complete his postdoctoral research fellowship at Urology Research Laboratory, Department of Urology, The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. 

Dr. Thalmann is a member of many scientific societies including EAU, AUA, AAGUS, ESUR, SBUR, URS, AACR, EORTC, Research Council of the Swiss National Science Foundation, Association of Academic European Urologists, European Society for Oncological Urology and Swiss Urological Society.

Dr. Thalmann is a manuscript reviewer for 35 international journals, editorial board member for 6 world-renowned journals, author of more than 344 peer-reviewed papers, reviews and book chapters and he was awarded numbers of honors and grants during the last 25 years.
